Terms of service

These terms are a contract between you and NextSEO ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service at nextseo.ai, including the dashboard, the blog and any API or integration we offer, you agree to them and to our privacy policy.

If you accept on behalf of a company, you confirm you can bind it, and "you" means that company. If you do not agree, do not use NextSEO.

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
• Give accurate details and keep them current.
• Keep your password and sign in methods safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us at once if you think someone else has access.
• One person per login. Agencies may add team members only on plans that allow it.
• We may limit trial abuse, for example by one person opening many trial accounts.

NextSEO reads the sites you connect, finds topics, writes articles and images, suggests improvements from Search Console data, checks AI assistant visibility and publishes to the places you connect. Features depend on your plan and can change over time. We may add, change or retire features, and will give you notice if a change removes something you rely on.

We aim to keep NextSEO available but it can be interrupted for maintenance or because of providers we depend on. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free.

• Trial: new accounts get 14 days free, with no card needed. Trial limits are shown in the dashboard.
• Plans: after the trial you choose a paid plan from the pricing page. Plans are charged monthly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. Each plan has limits, such as articles a month and number of sites. If you reach a limit you can wait for the next month or move to a larger plan.
• If you do not choose a plan after the trial, we stop automatic publishing and your account stays limited until you do. Your articles that are already on your website are not touched.
• Prices and taxes: prices are shown before tax. Taxes such as VAT or sales tax are added where the law requires. We will give you at least 30 days notice before a price change applies to you.
• Payment: you authorise us and our payment processor to charge your payment method. If a payment fails we may retry it and, if it still fails, pause the account.
• Upgrades and downgrades: an upgrade applies now and is charged pro rata for the rest of the period. A downgrade applies from the next period.
• Refunds: fees are not refundable once the period has started, except where the law gives you the right, or where we agree otherwise in writing, for example after a billing error. If you think we charged you by mistake, email us within 30 days.

You can cancel at any time in Settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep your plan until the end of the period you already paid for.

• Your inputs: the sites, pages, data and instructions you give us remain yours.
• Outputs: as between you and us, you own the articles, images and other output NextSEO creates for you, subject to the next point and to the rights of others in material that appears in them.
• AI output is not unique: other people can receive similar text from AI systems, and we make no promise that output is free from third party rights. Review what you publish.
• Licence to us: you give us a worldwide, non exclusive licence to host, process, copy and display your inputs and outputs only to run, secure and support the service for you, and as described in the privacy policy.
• Feedback: if you send ideas about the product, we may use them without owing you anything.

You decide how much control to keep. In review mode nothing is published until you approve it. In autopilot mode NextSEO publishes on the schedule and within the limits you set. In both cases you are responsible for what appears on your website.

• AI can state wrong facts, miss context or reflect bias. Check claims, prices, names, legal, medical and financial statements before they go live.
• Make sure you have the right to the content and the site you connect, and that what you publish follows the law and the rules of the platforms you use.
• Add disclosures that apply to you, for example for sponsored content or AI generated material.
• We keep a log of what autopilot did. Use it, and pause or change the limits whenever you want.

NextSEO works with services you control, such as Google Search Console, Blogger, WordPress and other CMS platforms. By connecting one, you confirm that you may do so and you authorise NextSEO to act for you within the permission you grant, for example to read Search Console data or to create and update posts.

Those services have their own terms and can change or stop working with us. We are not responsible for them. You can revoke access at any time in NextSEO or in the other service.

Do not use NextSEO to:

• break the law, infringe someone's rights, or publish content that is unlawful, hateful, defamatory, deceptive or harmful;
• create spam, doorway pages, fake reviews, or content made only to manipulate search results in ways search engines forbid;
• impersonate a person or business, or publish about a site you do not have the right to manage;
• probe, attack, overload or reverse engineer the service, or bypass limits or security;
• scrape or resell the service, or use it to build a competing product;
• send us personal data of a sensitive kind that the service does not need, such as health or financial records;
• use automated means to open accounts or to claim trials repeatedly.

We may remove content or suspend features that break these rules.

Search engines and AI assistants decide what they show, and they change their rules without notice. Examples and numbers on our site show what can happen, not what will happen to you. We do not guarantee rankings, traffic, citations, leads or revenue, and we are not responsible for changes made by Google or others.

NextSEO, its software, design, brand and documentation belong to us and our licensors. We give you a limited, personal, non exclusive, non transferable right to use the service for your own business while your account is in good standing. Nothing in these terms transfers our rights to you, except your ownership of your content as described above.

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these terms. You are responsible for having the right to give us any personal data that you put into NextSEO. If you are a business in a region where a data processing agreement is needed, email us and we will provide one.

• You can stop at any time by cancelling and, if you want, asking us to delete your account.
• We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if a payment stays unpaid, if you put the service or others at risk, or if the law requires. Where we can, we will warn you first and give you time to fix the problem.
• After the account ends, we handle your data as set out in the privacy policy. Please export what you want before you close the account.
• Parts of these terms that by their nature should continue to apply will do so, for example ownership, disclaimers, limits of liability and disputes.

NextSEO is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of AI output and non infringement. Some places do not allow some of these limits, so some of this may not apply to you.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or rankings, even if we were told they were possible.

Our total liability for all claims about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that led to the claim. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You will cover reasonable losses and costs arising from claims by a third party that come from your content, from how you use NextSEO in breach of these terms or the law, or from content you publish to your site, except to the extent we caused it. We will tell you about the claim promptly and let you help with the defence.

We may update these terms. For changes that matter we will email account owners or show a notice in the dashboard at least 30 days before they apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the date. If you keep using NextSEO after that date, you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws that apply to the NextSEO entity named on your invoice, without regard to conflict of law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the rights you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the place where you live.

Please contact us first at hello@nextseo.ai so we can try to settle a problem informally. If we cannot, the courts of the place of the NextSEO entity named on your invoice have jurisdiction, unless the law gives you the right to use your local courts.

• These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement about the service and replace earlier ones.
• If a part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
• If we do not enforce a right right away, that is not a waiver.
• You may not transfer your account without our written consent. We may transfer these terms as part of a merger or sale.
• Neither side is responsible for failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as outages of internet or cloud providers.
• We send notices to the email address on your account and show them in the dashboard.
